I was born in Santiago, Chile. I draw since I remember, but I was many years without practicing seriously. My primary and secondary studies were at the Instituto Nacional after I enter the Military School, and I graduated as an officer. I learned to pilot airplanes and later studied engineering at the Polytechnic Academy. As an engineer, I joined the armament industry, and later I returned to the Academy as a teacher. I left the Academy to get a Master's degree from The Universty of Warwick, UK, later I worked in the development of a rocket launcher system. In the year 2000, I was recruited by the United Nations as Weapons Inspector for the disarmament of Iraq. In 2004 I left the UN, two years later, I joined Poch and Associates where I worked as Project Manager and Project Co-ordinator for 9 years. Now, I have returned to my roots: I have got two diplomas of fine arts at the Catholic University, and I am producing art as much as my free time allows me (it is never enough!)
